Muniru HARDI, 2016 Parliamentary Candidate Of PPP joins NPP

A 2016 parliamentary candidate of the Progressive People’s Party has defected along with some of his campaign team members and supporters to the governing new patriotic party.

According to Mr. Muniru Hardi, his decision is motivated by the good works of the Party since coming to power in January 2017.

He has accordingly lauded Hon. Abdul Samed Gunu, the NPP MP for the Constituency, saying his accomplishments since wrestling the seat from the NDC in 2016 and for the first time since 1992 are superior if compared to the over two decade of the opposition party’s leadership.

At a short a ceremony in Savelugu where defectors  were received by the ruling party’s constituency Chairman, Alhaji Abdulai Gbung and the MP, Mr Hadi Muniru vowed to lead the crusade to ensure Hon. Gunu is re-elected, noting that his leadership has yielded lots of positives in the area.

The defector subsequently directed all who endorsed his 2016 parliamentary ambition to redirect their support to the New Patriotic Party and its parliamentary candidate to ensure victory in the upcoming polls.

A former constituency secretary of the Progressive People’s Party was also among the defectors.
