DCE for the Central Gonja District of The Savanna Region has reignited the controversial green book debate with a thinly vein dig at Oppostion National Democratic Congress following his inspection of some ongoing development projects in his area.
Hon. Mustapha Mahama who accompanied the Savanna Regional Minister, Hon. Adam Salifu Braimah, to inspect the Bunjai – Yapei Road currently under construction boasted afterwards that unlike the NDC who touts their imaginary achievements in green book, his party, the governing New Patriotic Party was good at executing infrastructure projects that the people could see and feel.
The President Nana Akufo – Addo in his last visit to the Savanna Region cut sod for the commencement of work on 123Km Road which when completed will provide short – cut and direct link between Salaga, the capital of East Gonja and Damongo, the Regional Capital.
Hon. Mahama said the central Gonja was a major beneficiary of the road project since 90 percent of the road passes through the area. He accordingly applauded the President for striving to improve the road networks in the area.
In a Social Media post, the DCE described his boss as a ”visionary leader” for his decision to carve Savanna out of the Old Northern Region.
“The creation of Savannah Region amongst six newly created regions by the visionary leader, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has not only fulfilled the long wish and dream of forefathers but also brought in unparalleled development to the Region”, Hon Mahama Mustapha wrote on his Facebook page.
